  • Minimum Requirements:

    Job Qualifications:

    To be considered for this position, we would expect many of the following skills:

    • 2+ years or more experience in film or tv series visual effects
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Understanding of shading models
    • Previous experience in a Visual Effects production environment
    • Previous experience performing Look Development tasks
    • Experience of real-world lighting and photography
    • Adept at finding the right balance between quality & render times
    • Ability to create custom render passes and AOVs
    • Ability to create sequence lighting from scratch
    • Willingness to share knowledge
    • Collaborate with Sups, leads, comp team to ensure all elements reach the desired look and delivery while ensuring continuity
    • Practical organization and communication skills
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Ability to work in a strong team environment

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Solid understanding of rendering methods
    • Strong Knowledge of Maya and ARNOLD
    • Basic knowledge in Nuke (pre-comps)
    • Basic knowledge in following applications would be favourable:
      • Unreal Engine 4,
      • scripting in Maya (mel or preferably python)

    Additional Requirements:

    Applicants must have an existing EU work permit and permission to live in Germany.
