• Motion Capture Technicians

  • Minimum Requirements:

    • 2+ years of industry experience in VFX, gaming, film, or animation.
    • Experience in Motive or other motion capture software.
    • Highly skilled in one or more 3D software programs (Maya, Motion Builder, Unreal Engine).
    • Positive, energetic, and an encouraging team player.
    • Ability to work independently and within very tight deadlines.
    • Adaptable, able to pivot and provide solutions in fast-paced environments
    • Knowledge of VFX production pipelines.
    • Understanding of animation fundamentals and techniques.
    • On set production experience is preferred, including a thorough understanding of camera configurations, etiquette, and pace.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Daily operation of motion capture system in a live-action filming environment.
    • Capture, clean and process high quality 3D motion capture data.
    • Frequent calibration of capture volume and camera tracking objects.
    • Evaluate every set and shot requirements to determine optimal camera placements.
    • Maintain on set equipment.
    • Prototype new hardware and software to increase efficiency and quality.
    • Ensure that all captured data adheres to our standards.
    • Develop, refine and optimize motion capture pipeline.
