Proficiency with C++ and OOP is a must, a solid grasp of HLSL and Python is also helpful.
Experience with DX12 + DXR or other modern graphics APIs is very valuable
Familiarity with gathering and analyzing performance metrics (GPUView, PIX, RenderDoc)
Confident with linear algebra and trigonometry.
At least 2 years of experience in the industry working with Unreal Engine.
BA in related fields or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively across multiple teams.
Solid organization skills with adherence to coding standards and other established protocols.
Comfortable with version control and CI.
Independent, self-driven, able to effectively meet deadlines.
Familiarity with motion capture, virtual production, camera tracking, Virtual reality, and augmented reality is a big plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure parity between DCC packages and Unreal.
Profile and optimize scenes to meet the project requirements without sacrificing visual fidelity.
Develop shaders, tools, particle systems, and modules for the internal library.
Create world-class photorealistic imagery.
Explore technology and techniques related to virtual production and mixed reality
Maintain and develop tools for Virtual Production.
